The September edit - things i’ve noticed, loved and gathered for this month ✨
As the new season starts I feel the pull to step back and look objectively at where I am in life and work, and to give myself the time and space to weigh things up and work out how I want to move forward.

I love these fountain pens.
I was given the brass Kaweco Sport by my husband a few years ago and it still feels special every time I use it. There’s a lovely weight to it (41.6g), the pen is tiny when closed, becoming standard length when the cap is popped on the end, and I enjoy the warmth of the metal as I write.
The brass is solid and untreated, so it naturally develops a patina over time. You can polish it back if you want to, but there’s something quite personal about the patina.
The Kaweco Sport was originally designed in 1911 as a pocket fountain pen, measuring just 10.5cm when closed, but with the cap posted onto the barrel it becomes a comfortable, full-sized 13cm pen in your hand.
Your pen comes in a Kaweco pen tin, complete with a standard medium nib. I’m also including a complimentary box of Pearl Black ink cartridges, so you have plenty to get started.

Designed by brothers Barry and Adam Needham in 1968, these paperweights were created to “capture the unusual, bordering on the impossible.” Each resin sphere, encapsulating a delicate dandelion seed head, is treated with a UV filter to preserve its intricate beauty, ensuring the piece remains enchanting for years to come.
Handcrafted in the Margam Forest of South Wales, Hafod Grange has been embedding flowers and seed heads from their gardens and surrounding countryside into resin for over 50 years, creating pieces that feel almost magical in their precision and beauty.
This paperweight is the larger size, measuring approx. 85mm dia (3.5”).
