Caravan Style is On The Move!

Another sunny day … It’s now June and we’re six months in, can you believe? It’s been quite a year already at this end, there’s a lot of exciting change ahead and I’m so happy to be sharing the news that we’re moving house!

The changes ahead are as much a surprise to me as to anyone else. I’d have happily carried on living in our little London house “forever”, so it had to be something very very different to pull me away. And it is. We’re off to a Victorian seaside bungalow later this year (with a few stops in between).

It will take a while to get our new future home into a “liveable” state – it’s been empty for a while and has acquired a healthy list of essential and extensive repairs. Combine all that with a grade 2 listing and it’s set to keep us busy for some time. And that’s before I even make a start on the interior.

The new abode is wonderful, amazing, and all I could dream of for my family and our activities, work and play. Caravan Style is going to fit in very well there, with plenty of room for stock and photography, and, of course, that all-important styling, under the same roof. Furthermore the space allows me to share it as a shoot location with aesthetically like-minded brands. Yippee!

I’m looking forward to how this will affect Caravan, the shop at Caravan Style. We’ll still have the London studio for deliveries, collections and meetings, but if you fancy a change of scene (or live in or near the Isle of Thanet), you might like to visit me at Sea Tower. There’s a mainline station nearby and we’re right on the coast, very near Margate, so perhaps you’ll combine it with a day trip!

Stock-wise I will be keeping even more of an eye out for those decorative finishing touches and special gifts Caravan has always been known for. With the extra styling activity I reckon there’s a good chance I’ll be adding a bit of vintage to the mix again.
